Asparagus and Baby Peas
⅔ cup (150 mL) water
⅓ cup (75 mL) canned vegetable broth

shallots
1 cup (250 mL) Family Tradition’s frozen Petite Peas

spears Family Tradition’s frozen Asparagus Spears
¼ tsp (1 mL) ground pepper
½
red bell pepper, seeded, stemmed and diced
Cut asparagus into 1" pieces.
In large frying pan, over medium-high heat, bring the water, broth, ground
pepper & shallots to a boil. Cover and cook for 5 minutes.
Add asparagus, bell peppers and peas. Bring to serving temperature.
Drain remaining liquid & transfer to bowl to serve.
