Breton Cheese Ball
2 8-ounce packages cream
cheese, softened
4 cups finely shredded
sharp cheddar cheese
1 cup sweet pickle relish
¼ cup minced onion
2 tsp garlic salt
Breton Crackers or Cheddar Minis
Beat cream cheese until smooth. Add cheddar cheese,
relish, onion and garlic salt. Chill until firm
enough to handle. Roll mixture into ball. Crush
Breton Crackers and roll cheese ball in cracker
crumbs. Chill. Garnish as desired. Serve with
Breton Crackers.
Helpful hints:
Roll cheese mixture into 1-inch balls and then roll
into crumbs for individual servings. Place on leaf
or bib lettuce or kale to dress it up.
