Halibut with Lemon Plum Sauce
4 Halibut fillets, about
6oz/175 g each
2 tbsp(25ml)
Gay Lea
butter, melted
1 tbsp(15ml) Finely chopped fresh basil
¼tbsp(1ml) Each salt and pepper
Lemon Plum Sauce:
½cup(125ml)
Gay Lea
Sour Cream
½tsp(2ml) Grated lemon rind
2 tbsp(25ml) Lemon juice
2 tbsp(25ml) Chopped fresh chives
1 Large black plum, finely
chopped
Pinch Salt
Lemon Plum Sauce: In a
bowl, whisk together sour cream, lemon rind and
juice and chives until smooth. Stir in plums and
set aside.
Place fish in shallow dish and drizzle with butter
and sprinkle with basil, salt and pepper. Place on
greased grill over medium high heat; close lid and
grill for about 10 minutes, turning once or until
fish flakes easily with fork.
Serve with Lemon Plum Sauce
