Dear Exporter:

 

We are pleased to invite you to participate in the Private Label Manufacturers Association Trade Show that will be taking place in Amsterdam from May 18-19, 2010.

 

PLMA’s annual “World of Private Label” International Trade Show brings retailers to manufacturers to help them find new products, make new contacts, and discover new ideas that will help their private label programs succeed and grow. Approximately 3,000 exhibit stands including more than 70 national and regional pavilions will have products on display. This show attracts supermarket, hypermarket, discounter, department, drugstore buyers and distributors from around the world and especially from key EU markets. Whether your goal is to introduce or promote your products in Europe or to bring back new product ideas or find a distribution partner then this event is an opportunity that you can't afford to miss!

 

As a participant of this program you will benefit from showcasing your products to potential buyers in the Canada pavilion. Participation also provides you with the opportunity to learn more about the market, assess opportunities for your company, analyze challenges and opportunities, identify possible avenues for market entry & identify how to meet the needs of the European consumer.

 

The cost to participate in the pavilion is CDN $4,250.00 for a 9m2 furnished space (includes hardwall with Canada branding, lighted name sign, counter, table, 3 chairs, shelves, carpet, wastebasket. Exhibitors must also be members of the Private Label Manufacturer’s Association; membership is U.S. $1,000.00.

 

Benefits of participating with the CFEA:

·         A savings of 50% of your stand costs – funding provided by Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada’s AgriMarketing Program 2009/2010 Agreement.

·         Full coordination of show services.

·         Network with other Canadian companies and Embassy/Consulate staff

·         Learn about the EU and Dutch private label market through a custom designed seminar and store tours.

 

Please note, the CFEA has submitted a funding application to Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada’s AgriMarketing Secretariat for 2010/11, which the travel/shipping expenses fall under. If approved you will receive a partial reimbursement of your airfare and sample shipment expenses as well as a daily per diem towards your hotel and meal expenses. However at this time we don’t know when the application will be assessed.
