CANADIAN PAVILION CONDITIONS FOR VISITING COMPANIES

Over the last several years, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) has had to deal with a number of concerns regarding the use of areas devoted to common use such as lounges and meeting rooms. In order to continue to offer the same level of service to exhibitors and to overcome some of the issues arising from non-exhibitors making use of common facilities, AAFC has introduced a walker fees for SIAL 2010 which will include the following services:

Canada Pavilion name badge for access to lounge

bullet

Show Entry Pass (for non Canada pavilion access this will be provided by the CFEA)

bullet

Invitation to Official Canada networking event

bullet

Daily networking sessions at the pavilion

bullet

Pre-show market briefing material

bullet

Opportunity to meet with participating Trade Commissioners

PROGRAM CANCELLATION POLICY

Option 1 – Visiting:  A fee of $250 per person will apply to cancellations made prior to September 3, 2010.  Cancellations received after September 3, 2010 will be non-refundable.

Option 2 – Exhibiting:  Cancellation of booth space cannot be accepted unless a replacement exhibitor is found.   If cancellation is accepted a 20% cancellation fee will be deducted from the company refund.

If a company fails to occupy his allotted space, CFEA and/or AAFC shall have the right to re-allocate the space in the best interests of the pavilion.  However, the applicant may remain liable for any loss suffered by his failure to occupy the space.
