January 26, 2026 – This message is to inform you of a recent World Trade Organization (WTO) notification from China regarding revisions to its National Food Safety Standard for Maximum Residue Limits (MRLs) for Pesticides in Foods. The revised standard proposes 598 new MRLs covering 126 pesticides across various food categories. The proposed date of entry into force has not been announced.
Please note, this notification (G/SPS/N/CHN/1356) includes additional MRLs that are separate from the notification shared in our previous announcement (G/SPS/N/CHN/1355). Please review both lists thoroughly.
