The Canadian Food Exporters Association in partnership with the Trade Commissioner Service is organizing a visitor program to WOFEX in Manila, Philippines from August 4-8, 2025.
WOFEX is the biggest and most successful food trade show in the Philippines. For over 20 years, it’s been the most attended and most anticipated food and hospitality event. It’s the only one that covers two locations at once: the World Trade Centre and SMX Convention Centre.
The schedule for the program is:
August 4 & 5 – Market Development Outreach day: Visits and targeted B2Bs at major Philippine retailers’ multi-category buyers, food processing companies/importers for food service institutions
August 5 – Networking Event at Official Residence
August 6 & 7 – Visit WOFEX
August 8 – Return to Canada
Products that are identified with high potential in the Philippines:
- Commodities: raw materials for food processing companies (i.e. dairy/whey powder, flour from soy, potatoes, etc., meats including beef, pork and poultry, potatoes (including French fries), sweeteners, etc.
- Processed Food and Beverages (retail-packaged): Sweet and savoury snack foods, potato chips, juices, cookies, condiments, breakfast items, canned foods, wines and spirits, non-alcoholic beverages, etc.
- Seafood: Ingredients for HORECA and retail-packaged seafood products, lobsters, cod, salmon, mussels, etc.
The cost to participate in the program is CDN $500.00. Registration is available at https://www.cfea.com/wofex-2025-visitor-registration/. This program is for CFEA exporter members only.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations will only be permitted if a replacement can be found to take the spot. In the event a replacement can be found the cancellation fee will be CDN $125.00.
Event Funding:
CFEA members will receive reimbursements for the following items:
Airfare: 70% reimbursement of a premium economy airline ticket (maximum one per company)
Per Diems: a per diem of $402.50 per day up to 6 days (maximum one people per company).
We reserve the right to limit the maximum reimbursement if the airline ticket cost exceeds our budget.
