The Canadian Food Exporters Association in cooperation with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada and the Embassy of Canada – Manila is inviting Canadian agri-food companies to participate in WOFEX (World Food Expo) taking place in Manila, Philippines from July 30-August 3, 2024.

WOFEX (World Food Expo) is the biggest and most effective food trade show in the Philippines. For more than 20 years, it has consistently been the most attended and most awaited food and hospitality event – the only one that covers two simultaneous locations, the World Trade Center and SMX Convention Center. It is expected that 51,000 will attend this event.

The cost to participate is CDN $1,957.00 (member rate) and includes a dedicated counter & tall glass display case in the Canada Pavilion. The Embassy will also be organizing a B2B program and reception on July 30th that is included with your participation.

CFEA Membership: To participate via the CFEA you will be required to purchase a membership. You can register online for membership at https://www.cfea.com/application. Membership is valid for one year from date joined.


Cancellation Policy: Cancellations will only be permitted if a replacement can be found to take the spot. In the event a replacement can be found the cancellation fee will be CDN $500.00.


Event Funding:

CFEA members will receive reimbursements for the following items:

Airfare: 70% reimbursement of a premium economy airline ticket (maximum 2 per company)

Carbon Offset Fee: 70% reimbursement of a carbon offset fee associated with airline ticket (maximum 2 per company). The Government of Canada expects companies participating in the Agrimarketing program to purchase carbon offset credits for their flight(s). Eligible vendors must adhere to internationally agreed standards, including Gold Standard, VER+, VERRA (formerly VCS, Verified Carbon Standard), or B.C. Offset System. Some airlines offer this as part of ticketing. If it’s not available through the airline then you’ll need to search for a company or reach out to us for a suggestion.

Per Diems: a per diem of $402.50 per day up to 7 days (maximum 2 people per company).

Shipment of Samples: 70% reimbursement of the cost to ship samples to show site.

We reserve the right to limit the maximum reimbursement if the airline ticket and shipment costs exceeds our budget.
