Global Affairs Canada is seeking input from Canadians on the administration of the Tariff Rate Quota (TRQ) for refined sugar exports to the United States established under the WTO, in order to update the administration policy.
The purpose of this consultation is to hear stakeholders’ views specifically on the administration, including the allocation methodology, the eligibility criteria, the return policy, the reallocation policy and the under-utilization policy.
The Government of Canada invites any Canadian stakeholder with an interest in the trade-related aspects of sugar to provide input.
